iMovie 7.1 (iLife 08)

I am having problems using iMovie 7.1.


Almost all of my movie files were recorded with my sony ps200. I placed them on a separate event in iPhoto (MPG).

I opened iMovie for first time and the files that were included in my library of imovie are just some files that are AVI... I tried manually importing the ones that were left a side but it does not let me. Neith the ones that iphoto recognizes. Why??

Any help?

I erased the cahce of iMovie but then again, how do I import the moves from iphot, it does not recognize them
