iMovie 8 Help

I'm going to be using iMovie 08 until I can get a copy of Final Cut Express. I'm using a Macbook, so I can't use FCP. Are there free transitions and plugins for iMovie 08, from what I understand they are available for 06, but I can't find anything for 08.

Any positive suggestions would be appreciated.
