iMovie and iDVD question

I imported a bunch on video from my Digital8 camcorder into iMovie. I want to make a dvd (or 2 if need be). Can I make a dvd in iMovie or do I need to use iDVD? If I have to use iDVD, how do I transfer the video I captured in iMovie to iDVD? Thanks.

what you need to do is just make your movie in iMovie with all the titles, music, and effects you want.

then click the share menu, and Export Movie...


export it however you wish, since your putting it on a dvd, you probably want to have it larger in size. then once that is done "sharing" open iDVD

pick your theme, create your titles and all that however you wish and when your ready to add the movie, click the media button on the bottom right, then click the Movies Tab and drag the movie you created in iMovie to your DVD.

editing one step idvd?

hi I am a complete beginnner, i have used the onestep feature in idvd6 to import from my camcorder onto a DVD. can i edit the footage before burning to to a dvd.
