iMovie Audio Problem

I'm having a minor issue with some audio for a clip I imported into iMovie. It's a 48 minute video from a friend's Aitek SD-card camcorder. We converted the video to DV format using Windows Movie Maker, but the audio seems to have gone out of sync. Not sure if the problem is in the original clip at this point, but the audio starts about 3-4 frames out of sync. I figured out how to fix that, but then discovered that by the end of the video, audio is out of sync by a full second.

I've been looking for some software I can use to stretch the audio, but haven't found any yet. Can anybody point me in the right direction? (Or better, tell me how to fix it from inside iMovie?)

there is no way to fix it easily in iMovie. maybe in sountrack ( and i am not even sure of that). I would not use WMM to convert, i would use a mac app....

The camera records into ASF format, which doesn't seem to be understood by any software I've got. What can I use to do the conversion.
