I have a video clip that is currently 4:3, I want to make it widescreen to fit my ipod touch, but I don't want to add pillarboxes on the left and right sides. Is there any way to chop the top and the bottom of the clip off? Maybe a plugin? Help appreciated.

I'm looking to do the same thing.

I have a Quicktime clip of a Web-page animation that I need to either crop (the pieces I'd be cutting off at the top and bottom are meaningless anyway) or stretch into widescreen format.

I've looked all over for an iMovie plug-in for this but haven't found any.
