When I edit video (from a cam) in Imovie 09 it get's very slow after 5 minutes of film... I just put audioclips, background-mp3 etc on the clips.. nothing special i think. What do I do wrong? :(

My system: Macbook pro wih 4 GB internal memory. Is that not enough????:(

stupid question; do you run other programs at the same time, it could slow the process.

Which generation macbook pro? Try restarting your computer and edit direct then. It might help.

Which camera, and what are your project settings?

Is the video material Standard or High Definition?

Could you give us a screenshot of iMovie with your project open?

Have you looked at Activity Monitor, what might eat up your CPU? Be sure to select All Processes.
