IMovie Event Library ?

Right now, my event library lists my iphoto movies in my HD and below it lists the various movies in my external HD in chronological order

Is there a way to display my Event Library so that it is in Chronological order REGARDLESS of where the source is? I just want all my movie clips sorted by date regardless of whether they were directly imported or via iphoto and regardless of where they reside (Internal Hard Drive, External Hard Drive, etc)

I would appreciate any assistance.

p.s. - I have IMovie '09 .
