I have (essentially) a slide show with that pan-n-zoom effect for tons of scanned photos of my wedding day. I added a couple tracks of music and effects, fading back and forth, etc. It looks great, but now when i export it to anything BUT quicktime .mov files, it squashes it, making everyone look stumpier.

The intended destination is video-cd or DVD, if I can borrow a friend's superdrive. But, with divx, VCD, etc. ANYTHING BUT quicktime gives me that house-of-mirrors look like it's make the top and bottom squish together every so slightly.

What is the native resolution of these iMovie movies? 720x480? 640x480? When I specify 640x480 - quicktime, it works. When I specify to output 640x480 into divx or vcd, it squishes. HELP!! :)

Many thanks,
