iMovie files on Windows

Is there a way to send an imovie file to a windows computer to be edited there?

i believe that imovie has .mov files so yea as long as whatever editing program you have supports .mov(which they should!) if not just make sure that the files are compatible on your editing program!

Do you mean continue editing, or just export the finished product from iMovie and edit from there?

There is no way to continue editing an iMovie project on Windows, but you can export the finished video and import it into Premier or Avid or whatever you use on windows.
