iMovie for Ipad and Picasa/Google Photos?

I want to make slideshows of photos and add a song to it...a music video if you will.

I want to use photos from Picasa/Google + and my photostream from my iphone to do this.

Can iMovie on the ipad do this?

I do not have any Apple computers and I would like this process to be entirely on the ipad.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found photodirector which I think does the trick but I would rather buy iMovie. Unfortunately, there is no try before you buy.

Without finding out online, I would go to Apple store to try to find out.

I gave up waiting and bought the slideshowphotodirector app or whatever it's called. It works. a little buggy but does the job.
