iMovie has disappeared

Help Please?

I have just had my new 27" iMAC Quad only a week and very new to MAC, today the iMovie icon on my DOCK has a big grey ? on it and it will not open. It seems iMovie is nowhere to be found, I looked in Trash and Apps but nothing. I haven't even used iMovie yet and it has gone? And it's not in my APPLICATIONS FOLDER! I can't find it anywhere! I am not sure if I deleted it or not, but it's not anywhere. I did download some updates recently I wonder if that was the cause? If I deleted it, is there a way to get it back? Please help!

I have the two DVDs that came with iMAC but very wary of how to use them or if I need to?

Please advise as I would like to get my iMovie back soon

just put the applications DVD in your iMac and reinstall iMovie.
