iMovie HD - deleting inverse of selected portion

In the timeline, I've selected a portion that I want to keep. Instead of cutting the clip twice and deleting two selections, I'd like to select the inverse of what is selected and delete that. How do I do this?

Press Apple-K. Too lazy to look up the english name of the corresponding menu item right now (I am running OS X not in English), but it's further down in the edit menu.
