imovie HD - still frame problem

Anyone else noticed that when you use "Create Still Frame" from a photo the quality of this frame drops from the source image? I don't think this was an issue before and it's annoying 'cause I like to tag a couple second still frame on the end of a Ken Burns effect sometimes. I

It also won't let you "share" a movie either... iMovie HD needs an update already...
