iMovie help - Sort clips by X

I imported my camcorder contents to my computer, and i wanted to edit them in iMovie. After waiting over an hour to import them (over 200 clips), and editing some things around, iMovie crashes and moves all the clips to the trash. After that they are all out of order and i cant decide between waiting another hour to import them, or ordering them by hand.
So i ask you: is it possible to make a sort of the clips? like sort by name?
