I've run into a problem I've never had before with iMovie.
I'm working on the longest movie (39 minutes) I've ever done. When the project is complete, there are a variety of problems. The movie gets stuck at some transitions, some video clips will not play and audio is missing from some clips just to name a few. I've tried quitting and restarting iMovie, have scrapped and redone the project, and tried other corrective fixes as well, but all with the same disastrous results in the end. My guess is that iMovie will only handle a certain amount of video or there is some set length.
So, I'd like to know if anyone been successful in creating a large movie with iMovie and if so, how long was the finished product?

Any help would be greatly appreciated in troubleshooting this annoying issue.

Update: I trashed iMovie's plist files from preferences and re installed iMovie. Some problems disappeared but I have clips with no audio (yes, checked the audio levels) and some video clips that won't play.

Don't need help anymore. I called Apple Support and they resolved my issue : )
