iMovie Help

When I try to drag and drop a .mp4 video into iMovie it won't work.
I've done it before but I don't remember how.

I don't want to use video from a camera.

Is there a type of format the video has to be, to be able to drag and drop it?
The closest thing I have got is the video with no picture, just audio.

Hi!

Make sure, you have the latest version of QuickTime installed, which you can download it from Apple's website.
