Hello,

I'm getting along well with imovie, I'm trying to make some simple videos for my massage business that I am publishing on YouTube.

I have a number of slides with music timed just right at the beginning and the end, and would like to have some kind of template that I could use repeatedly or some kind of "save as" option so that I don't have to recreate it every time I make another 2 min. video.

There's got to be a way to do this, yes?

If you want to see what I mean, my YouTube channel is alteredstates42.

Thank you,
Cynthia

I take it that you mean the clips at the beginning and the end of each video? Just create a Project with those two separate clips and save it as a complete project. This will be your template. When you want to create a new video, open that first project, insert the video for your new project and save it under a new name.

Does not keep template when saved

David,

thank you very much for your reply.
- I've made my template with the beginning and endings
- Then I inserted other content
- The only way I see to rename it is to click on the name. This does not save the original template for me to work with later.

The drop down menu does not have either a "save as" or a "rename".
I am using imovie '08 - are you doing something with '09 that is not a choice for this version?

If that's the case, I'm upgrading immediately!

Thank you,
Cynthia
