A day of computer problems . . . I'm trying to capture some analog video using my ADVC-100.

When I capture using Adobe Premiere everything is fine -- except it creates a file that can not be imported into iMovie.

When I capture using iMovie, the sound will play through -- but the resulting captures contain no sound.

I'd like to be able to use both programs, but I can't figure out a way to get iMovie to capture both the video and the audio at the same time.

As an aside, once I started playing around with iMovie my Premiere program started crashing. I trashed the Preferences for Premiere and that solved the problem.

I have an old version of iMovie due to the fact that I'm in OS9.2. Are there more control options in newer versions? For instance, Premiere gives me all sorts of audio and video capture options not available on my version if iMovie. It all is making me thing that I should buy Final Cut Express when I order my new Mac. By the way, if Premiere is creating Quicktime files, why can't iMovie import these? Any thoughts?
