iMovie issue when clips saved and re-opened

If I import a video from Screenflow in to iMovie 09 it looks great. I can upload it to youtube and the hi def movies are great. I close iMovie and re-open it. The clips now look blurry. If I upload the clips to youtube now, even though hi-def is an option the video is actually very small and looks bad. Any ideas? I have a big project and need this to work

I can answer my own question. A reboot fixed it.
