I am working on a project that i need to do some editing.. The original files off the camera were mpg that would not have sound in quicktime or imovie.. So i extracted the audio in ffmpegx and put it back in using quicktime pro, and it saved as a .mov. So i figured great, it will actually work because they play fine in quicktime.. Now when import the clips into imovie.. there is just sound, with no video. What is the problem?

when you open iMovie you see drag clips here to build your project, if you look to the right you will see a box make sure you have that box checked :)

or

can you choose on the camera .MOV instead of MPG?

dont know if this help or not

Yeah those boxes are checked. As i said, they were originally in mpg and i had to convert them to mov.. They originally had no audio, now they have audio with no video.

thought i hit submit.. but guess not.. but i really need to figure out why this isnt working.. im on a deadline so i would really appreciate if someone knew how i could fix this..
