I recently updated my version of iMovie from the 2011 version to the newest one. Previously all of my videos were stored in a folder on my mac called iMovie events. Now with this new version, iMovie seems to have gone the same route as iPhoto by storing my whole library as just one file. Now I have a huge file called iMovie Library, and also the folder called iMovie events. I'm wondering - can I delete the iMovie events folder now, and just keep the iMovie library file or are they connected in some way?

In the New iMovie, select a clip that you know was in the old Events folder, and then from the File menu(I think) select; Reveal in Finder. If the old Events folder opens, then you'll need to keep it.

Of course, you should still have iMovie11 which will need that Events folder if you want to use it again.
