So I love to make timelapse movies with imovie 11 on my macbook pro retina. It worked perfectly up until this week, I was even making movie last week doing what I usually do which is drag and drop into imovie to import photos. Now this week it isnt working.
If I try and drag just one picture into the movie it will bounce back to where I dragged it from (iphoto) and not import it. If I have a bunch selected it will bounce them back to iPhoto but come up with a status bar saying "importing x number of stills" but it never makes any progress and I have to force quit the program to get it to close down. This is really not very much fun, when it was literally working last week.
I tried repairing and verifying my harddisk, I also deleted the imovie cache's and still nothing. Imovie will import and edit video clips just fine but not the photos.
Any help or guidance is appreciated while I continue searching for an answer.
