iMovie on iPhone - Zoom-Out on both portions of split screen

Hi.

I am using iMovie on iPhone.

I am using split screen mode (not picture in picture).

I am able to zoom out on the secondary video (the top layer). When doing so, black bars are on the left and right of that video because I’m zooming way out. Makes sense.

But I am not able to zoom out on the primary video (the bottom layer). My picture in that video is being cropped. I could zoom in, but not out (as if its trying to prevent the black bars from occurring on this portion).

Do you know how I can zoom out on the primary video?
