Hi Everyone -

I got a drone that shoots in 4K and 2.7K...I want to export/share the footage I've been editing in iMovie and the best option it gives me is 1080p.

I'm running iMovie 10.1 on my MacBook (12 inch) and when I look at the RAW files they're definitely in 2.7K and 4K.

Let me know how to fix this problem please. Any ideas would be awesome!

iMovie can't export 4k, you'll need Premiere or Final Cut.

It looks like you can Export 4K from the "My Media" portion, but once you start editing only 1080p.

I'm downloading the Final Cut Pro 30-Day trial to see if I like it. Would you recommend that over Premiere?

Thanks - Problem solved.
