iMovie or iDVD: just a slideshow with menus

hello to all,

im only posting this question cuz i dont have my mac at my current location. otherwise i'd just play around first.

iDVD has a slideshow making program in it according to Apple's website. i'm looking to do a slideshow with chapter selections, extra features etc. Is there any reason I should make the show in iMovie and THEN xfer it to iDVD? Or can/should I make it all in iDVD?

Thisll be the very first time i've ever used these programs. Crazy huh?
