iMovie Plugins on Intel iMac - Anyone using Rosetta?

I just got a new Intel C2D iMac. My third party iMovie plugins are no longer working. I have plugins that I've purchased from Virtix, c/fx and some free ones from Stupendous Software.

It looks like Virtix has fallen off the face of the planet....c/fx has some instructions on how to run iMovie under Rosetta. Has anyone tried this? Is it stable? How is the performance?

I really want Virtix Arsenal (lightsaber and laser effects) to work. Are there any alternative plugins for lightsabers that work as Universal Binaries?

uh oh

is intel c2d core 2 duo? thats what i have and i tried to dl plug ins and it totally make imovie crash every time i did anything!!! i need to dl plug ins because i have this movie due in a day ... is there any hope!! do plug ins work with this computer?
