imovie problems under panther...

When I go to import a clip from my camera, it shows the camera connected. However, when I click import, the camera starts playing the clip, but the mac does not import the film. I cannot even get it to preview the clip. What gives? I am on a g5 if this helps any.

I had the same problem then found a setting inPrefs, and switched from NTSC (US standard) to PAL (EU standard) and it worked. hop ethis helps.
