iMovie project updated to newer version and lost audio

Hi, I recently opened an imovie project in 6.03 that I created in an earlier version. It read that it had to update the project because a newer version of Imovie was being used to open this, ok? I clicked yes, ok, and although the project opens, there is no audio.

The lines of audio are shown, and the boxes next to them are checked, but you cannot hear anything.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?
