How can I have a split screen or maybe split the screen into 4 quadrants and have video in 3 and text in the last window...will Imovie do this??

Another newbie question...I need to have text that will show races results for 5-8 boats.

Anyway I like the strip subtitle format but need to display results for 6 or 7 boats and times at once...It seems to only let me display 2 and the text for the second in automatically made smaller.

Need some help guys

iMovie out of the box will not let you do this. There might be some third party plug in for iMovie which may give you the quadrant view, but its no likly to be very flexible if you want to get more creative.

You may want to consider investing in Final Cut Express or Pro if you want to take your editing to this level of sophistication.'

Well that sux, I was hoping to finish a few races on imovie before learning fce.
But I need the times clear and find text over video is not that sharp.
Off to ebay I guess....what version do I need for a month old mac pro

no comments on the video..come on I used 2 on boards, and 3 on the ground..one in the air.
Trying to learn video as an expensive hobby
