iMovie question

Ok so I have a taking my tivo recordings and putting them on my ipod. I donwload them using Toast 8 and then exporting those videos to convert them from their tivo code. From there I used iMovie to edit the commercials out. But today iMovie wasnt accepting the files from toast.

This process has been working for me for past recordings, so its weird that its not now. any suggestions?

If it was working yesterday, but it is not working today, then you did something at midnight. Figure out what it was and undo it.

What format are they when you get them from toast?

If you have the space, try making them dv files.

I wish I could, but from tivo recordings my only options on Toast are m4v, m4a, and mp4.

mp4 is fine.
