iMovie Question...

Hi, I have a Digital Camera that can record video, and I was wondering after I upload it on my new iMac and open iMovie it doesn't seem to recognize it... Am I missing something or do I need some software to convert it? My videos shows .MPG and it doesn't work, while .mov works.

Use this software www.squared5.com, called MPEGStreamclip (freeware), convert to .dv then import to iMovie.
