iMovie quits when i open a particular project!

hi all,
i searched the boards for other threads on it but only found and it wasn't exactly the same as my problem. I was working all afternoon on a project in iMovie and exported it several times with different file names. While it was exporting the last time i left the computer and when i came back to it it was sleeping. Could my g5 have tried to go to sleep while exporting? i would have thought that because it was doing something it wouldn't have gone to sleep until it stopped. Anyway i closed iMovie and garageband and just as i did i forgot that i had to add something to the end of the movie. So i opened imovie up and it quit as soon as it opened. I repaired permissions and did sudo tasks and updated the prebindings. Then restarted straight away. Tried it again but still the same, so i trashed the preference file and relaunched imovie. It worked fine and opened successfully but still when i try to open the project i was working on it crashes imovie. And then crashes the next time it opens because it loads the last used project.

So i transfered the project folder to my powerbook and tried to open it there, but the same thing happened. Has the project file become corrupted? or something?

Can anyone help? I'm running imovie 3 on a 1.8Ghz G5
 
help the txt file is huge and i don't understand which bits to edit!

I have no idea, those aren't my webpages. Just make a copy of that file to keep as a backup. Try and edit it then. What have you got to loose? It doesn't work anyway..
 
Fixed it, I managed to track down Karl Petersen on the Apple Dicussion forums who helped me out. This was my first iMovie project (and my last) I'll stick to video editing in Final Cut and just do it at Uni.

this was the part that was messing it up

It was the negative values that were screwing it up, so basically by removing this it made everything work ;)
