IMovie share option not working HELP

I use the IMovie app every day with no issue, but for some reason today it has decided not to let me share or export at all. I don't get any messages or pop ups saying it won't let me, the buttons just do not click. I've tried to shut down and restart the computer and app but nothing is working. I'd really like to keep the project I was working on without having to delete the entire program and reinstalling. PLEASE HELP.
