I'm trying to create our wedding slideshow in iMovie (after being annoyed by the 99 chapter glitch in iDVD) and am running into another problem. In iMovie, for some reason a bunch of the photos "jump" or "snap" quickly into place when the slide first appears. This seems to be some sort of glitch, but I've throughly messed with the settings and haven't found a way to fix it. Here's a YouTube video of someone who had the same issue (at the 28 sec. mark). Anyone know how to fix this? It's driving me nuts. I'm not real happy with how much difficulty I'm having just trying to create a simple slideshow. Thank you.

If it helps, I'm on a 20" iMac I purchased in August running iLife '08.

The iDVD issue is that the slideshow pauses for a moment (cutting the audio) every 99 slides due to the 99 chapter DVD limitation. If anyone knows a way around this as well, that'd be great.

Fixed Jumping Images

I re-sized the images according to the recommendation from Apple:

720 x 540 pixels for standard video in NTSC format

854 x 480 pixels for widescreen in NTSC format

768 x 576 pixels for standard video in PAL format

1024 x 576 pixels for widescreen in PAL format

And that took care of the jumping.
