iMovie sound question

Looked through the threads -- didn't see this one.

I was trying to save the sound track from an iMovie project as a sound file that I can keep in my iTunes library to use in other iMovie projeccts. Is this possible?

(Hope this isn't idiotic simple, but I'm pretty new to DV....)
