Lacking a proper video recorder I haven't made much use of iMovie. But I did have one of those little videos from a camera that's particularly amusing and that a friend wanted to see. Unfortunately, it's not quite so funny without the music etc so I've added some in
I have the piece done and then decided that an effect over the title would look good. I wanted to put in some Fairy Dust.
Title is set to wipe with pink text 'Pretty in Pink?' and Over Black is checked.
I select this clip and choose Effects - Fairy Dust. On the Preview button, it looks fine. There's the black background, the fairy dust coming over and the letters in pink.
It renders and suddenly the background changes to a slightly different shade of pink and the pink letters are almost too faint to read.
How can I get the background to stay black and the letters pink while using the Fairy dust effect?
