imovie Title Problem-- HELP!!!

I have a deadline to meet for a video, but I keep encountering the same problem.

I created titles in Photoshop using the DV NTSC preset, set the res at 1000pix/in. When I burn to disk from idvd, the titles are smooth when fading in, then get pixellated when the transition is complete.

Anyone?
