I'm currently messing around in iMovie and notice that when I add the titles they seem to get compressed and blurry... it's kind of annoying considering that it doesn't happen in windows movie maker, is there anyway to stop it?

This is iMovie HD, I did search but didn't find a solution to it.

Have you tried rendering the file to see the final product? Sometimes the titles may look less than perfect in iMovie itself.

A different solution

Rendering didn't fix my blurry titles, but I found another solution. Hope this helps someone else.

I was using titles that scrolled up from the bottom. They ran about 1 minute. They were VERY blurry on the CD --really unreadable. I tried different fonts, sizes, outlines, speeds. Nothing worked.

The solution was to break my titles into smaller chunks, about 15 seconds each. Now, they look great.

Good luck everybody!
