So far i've managed to import AVCHD (.mts) footage into iMovie and share for Apple TV 2 viewing.

However for the occasion i wish to record it to play in a DVD player (SD) i'm not sure how to do this?

I noticed the iDVD option in share but i believe iDVD has been removed from Lion and you can't download it as a separate install. Seems mad?

Preferably i'd like to be able to achieve iMovie to DVD without having to buy anything else.

What options do i have?

Thank you,

Thank you,

Make a genius bar appointment (if you're still in warranty and assuming this is a new Mac) and they'll see if they can put iDVD on. I'm going tomorrow to see what we can do.

Did you check in your Applications folder?

Roxio Toast isn't bad to burn DVD, and about as simple to use as iDVD.
