iMovie to iDVD - File size problems.

When exporting my videos the file sizes are coming up at around 100mb. I've around 50 videos to fit on 1 DVD.

Does anyone know how to reduce the file size? Is there a free converter? I've tried going from Large to Medium but it's not as great as I'd hoped.

Any ideas?

How long are the videos? 50 is a lot to fit on one disc.

How long are the videos, and especially the one that turned out to be 100MB in size?
Also what resolution and what codec are you using?

The videos are around 7 minutes at most. It's an educational DVD.

Can this converter reduce the file size? I'm new to iDVD and not sure what formats it accepts or which are smaller.

I think you are trying to fit too much onto one disc, or are you using DL?

You can adjust the quality in iDVD Project Preferences.

This should definitely fit on a DVD. I've taken the footage from an existing disc. I needed to add a 4 second title screen to each video.

Once you import the files to iDVD, try adjusting the quality from Project preferences.
