Is it just me or does this process need to be improved? Today I brought in about 2.5 hours of DV footage into iMovie and edited it down to about 1 hour 50 minutes or so. I then clicked on share to iDVD. iMovie then rendered it out to iDVD (took about 2 hours) and now that it is in iDVD, it is re-rendering again! Now why in the world wouldn't iMovie just render in the correct way in the first place??? If you ask me it is pretty stupid to have to render it twice. Sometimes Apple makes things well and think them through, other times they are worse the MS!
Just a little rant. Thanks!

Let me know if there is a better way than rendering the damn thing twice because I have about 60 hours of DV footage that needs edited and put on DVD.

Yeah that is kinda stupid. But the only way to not render footage twice when going to DVD is making sure its in MPEG2 format - and I don't think iMovie does MPEG2.
