I get what you're asking, but there's no way to do that.
iMovie Projects have the unique .iMovieProj extention that only iMovie uses. So there's no way to just transfer your iMovie project to a PC.

However, you could export the project as a high-quality DV file, transfer it to the PC, and then burn it (assuming you have some PC software that will make a regular DVD from a .dv file).

Hope that helps (and I hope you don't need to use a PC too much ;))!

DV format error

thanks - I try not to use the pc but it's the only DVD burn available to me at the moment... and what's more after one hour of cpmpression into Q time Movie format it tells me no can do - it doesn't recognise one of the components ( no specifics but I'm guessing a sound file)

thanks anyway

Back to tape?

Ok so I'm a novice - another solution I thought of was to transfer back to tape to ease the memory problem. imovie says it's transfering but the Sony (DCR TRV110 from the mid 17th centuary) tape ain 't moving ( oh and it is in
VTR mode).
any clues ...
