iMovie unexpectedly quits?

Just the other day (after installing QT6 and before installing 10.1.5) my iMovie2 in OSX wont run. It begins to open, opens the normal looking screen, and then quits before I can do anything. It tells me it unexpectedly quits and gives no other clues. It does seem as if it quits when it tries to load the project I was working on.

I tried throwing out iMovie and reinstalling, but get the same thing!
iMovie in OS9 works just fine.

Anyone have any ideas what it might be? Are there othe files (other than the iMovie folder) that I would need to trash to do a cleaner reinstall?

Wish I knew, I have not had that prob yet, though I still have 10.1.4. Hope someone knows.

...strange indeed. Both versions I had 2.1 and 2.1.1 would quit like I said when in OSX.

Ok I just went back and read the QT6 FAQs again. I guess iMovie isn't supported in this beta release. I would have thought they would have atleast had this running correctly...
