iMovie '11 was nearly back to the old iMovie HD 6 in terms of features. For those who have downloaded the update, have any features been removed? Or is this just a re-skin and a few new features?

I haven't installed the new version yet, but from the "what's new" description I see that it's gained native AVCHD editing. I'm pretty pumped about that feature.

On my older Mac, it cannot install!

Same for me. Mid 2007 2.8Ghz 24" iMac. Says graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements. What the heck? The system runs everything from Aperture to Final Cut with zero issues. It can not longer run the new iMovie?

The interface is REALLY different, so it's tough to track down what has changed. Plus it's super buggy. It must have crashed 6 times on me last night, and tends to hang from file operations, it seems to me.

The new iMovie has created a duplicate of all my events into a new Library. Is it safe to delete the old events on the hard disk if I'm not going to use the older version anymore?

Same thing here. Mid 2007 iMac 20" and video card will not support new version. Every other iLife & iWork app update worked.

What's the path to the duplicate folder?
