I've created a couple of movies in iMovie and when going to export there is no option for 4k?

I have exported plenty of 4k videos before with no issue.

The movie I am trying to export has 4 videos and some text but the highest I can export to is 1080p.

I've just started from fresh and created it all again (including text etc) and now there is an option for 4k. But if i go back to the first movie only 1080p. They are both identical! I don't understand!

I am really quote annoyed as I have a movie I have spent about 6 hours working on and there is no option for 4k, meaning I am going to have to start from scratch.

Any ideas?

EDIT - I have just found this on the Apple website:

In iMovie for Mac, the first clip added to your project determines how you can export your movie or trailer. If you want to export a 4K file, be sure to add a 4K clip in the timeline before adding other clips.

What a ridiculous requirement! The very first thing I put into the movie was a photo. So now the entire movie can't be exported to 4k!

Thankfully, I have removed the video (nothing changes) and then copy everything else into a new project and then reinsert the photo and it's now allowing me to export to 4K. Very silly!
