iMovie won't export

I have tried numerous times now. The loading circle (although inaccurate) within imovie continue until it says exported and then I check the source folder that the movies are saved to and they are there but they only contain an image of the first clip. There is no video although in the export settings it tells me that the file going to export is 6min.

Any suggestions.
