WTF Apple? iPad has same processor as iPhone 4 and is faster than the damn iPhone (ok, less RAM) yet you give the iPhone 4 the new iMovie but not the iPad...

Ummm... I call BS!

The iPad and the iPod touch have the same amount of RAM, too. It runs quite nicely, although when you plug in to sync, iTunes doesn't recognize it and wants to delete it.

I tried the workaround and I never see iMovie listed as an app to be installed or uninstalled.

I downloaded it via iTunes, closed iTunes, opened ICU, and I see it listed under apps. I click on my iPad under devices, it shows just the apps installed on my iPad. It does not list iMovie.

My iPad is JB'ed and not updated to 4.3. I am still on 4.2. Does this matter?

Any help?

Once ICU is open, you need to click "Add" in the toolbar, pick the iMovie 120.ipa file (or whatever it's listed as from your ~/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications folder), and then navigate to your device and it should be there to be installed. I'm doing this by memory (at work and don't have access to a Mac), but it's a two-step process (add, find the file, OK, pick the device, apps tab, install)
