IMovie/You tube audio track

Does anyone know if it is it possible to download a video from you tube and save just the soundtrack, to be used as a audio track in IMovie.

In fact I've downloaded the video to my computer already but have no idea how to remove or copy just the sound track.

There are loads of apps to download videos from YouTube, just Google it.
Heres one for instance:-

Once you have the video, open it with QuickTime and then choose 'Export' and select one of the audio formats

Or you can import the video into iMovie, put it in a Project and then use the "Detach Audio" feature in the Clip Menu.

Thanks Guys. I have the you tube movies downloaded into my documents but they are greyed out when I try anything. So is everything else for that matter

I may need to read up on something or attend a few lessons me thinks.
Do you guys buy MAC format for information or other mag's to learn these things.
