iMovie

I need help with iMovie. I'm trying to add in the picture in picture effect into a clip but I can't seem to figure out how. I looked on apples website but I've been having loading issues with the sight right now. Please reply with directions telling me how to access the effect and not a link.

hello, this is how it works...

Step 1 - turn on advanced features (go to preferences and check box "show adavanced tools").

Step 2 - Have the clip for the 'main window' the larger part of the screen loaded as part of the project.

Step 3 - Drag and drop the clip you want to be in the picture window right on top of the existing project clip.

step 4 - a drop down menu will appear, select "Picture in Picture".

Step 5 - the 'Picture in Picture" footage will appear in the project above the original clip.

You can now edit this just like any other part of your iMovie project.
