After converting an AVI movie file in HandBrake (v0.9.3) to a .m4v movie file, I have no problems playing the .m4v movie in VLC and QuickTime. However, why is it that iMovie'09 will not read the new .m4v movie file? It could read the original AVI movie file, though.

Is there something to set in HandBrake to ensure that its .m4v movie files can be read by iMovie'09?

Thanks.
